MORE ONLINE POKER CONSOLIDATION
20 November 2009
Now Fair Poker and Noble Poker merge
The consolidation trend in online poker continued this
week with the announcement that two poker rooms on
Playtech's iPoker network have merged.
Playtech's
Gibraltar-licensed Noble Poker and Fair Poker players
have been informed of the merge, in which Fair Poker
player accounts and loyalty points have been transferred
to Noble with a bonus offer as an incentive to stay with
the action, using the same log in and passwords as in
the past. The Fair Poker website has reportedly been
rebranded to reflect the Noble identity.
No
reasons were given for the merger with Noble, which -
like Fair Poker - has been around since 2004. Fair Poker
was formerly an Antiguan licensed property of the
Intercontinental Online Gaming Group.
