PLAYTECH APPOINTS NEW INVESTOR RELATIONS CHIEF

Hawley has hedge fund management experience 
 

Online gambling software developer Playtech plc has appointed former hedge fund manager Ross Hawley to the newly created post of Head of Investor Relations.

In a company statement, Playtech says that Hawley will work closely with Playtech executive management and external investor and analyst audiences to promote the company's investment case.

Hawley has broad experience across investor relations, corporate finance and business development having worked both as an in-house adviser and within the investment banking industry. Most recently, he spent over 10 years at the FTSE100 hedge fund manager, Man Group plc, working on a wide range of corporate transactions and maintaining relationships ranging from investors and affiliated hedge fund managers through to banking, legal & accounting advisers.

Previously, he spent a number of years in investment banking, working principally on raising capital across Europe and the emerging markets.
