Evolution Gaming to provide live-over-the-internet
gaming from purpose built Latvian studios
Alderney licensed Evolution Gaming continued its
successful run of signing new licenees this week by
inking an agreement to provide live dealer action to the
German online sportsbetting, poker and casino company
Bet-at-home.com. The new deal brings to 15 the number of
major European companies which Evolution services from
its purpose built gambling studio in Riga, Latvia.
Other clients include Party Gaming, William Hill, Blue
Square, Stan James, Gaming VC, Expekt, Gala Coral and VC
Bet.
Announcing the new deal, Evolution CEO Jens von Bahr
said: “Our phenomenal growth is thanks to consistent
investment in developing the best, most realistic
platform on the market.”
Evolution Gaming was founded in 2006 by three of the
industry's pioneers and has grown quickly, with over 100
staff in London, Stockholm, Singapore, Latvia and St
Petersburg by offering what the firm claims is the most
realistic casino experience possible online. The company
has an international structure with a technology team in
London; sales, marketing and finance in Sweden; studio
operations and technology support in Latvia; customer
relations in Costa Rica, and support operations in
Singapore.
Malta-licensed Bet-at-home.com is a sign-up of note,
with 1.4 million registered players across Europe and
revenues in 2007 of over Euro 490 million, expected to
almost double by the end of 2008. The company uses a mix
of softwares that includes a proprietary sportsbetting
platform, poker from Boss Media and recently acquired
CasinoModule facilities and games from Net Entertainment
