FUTUREBET MELTDOWN?
9 November 2007
Unpaid players, licensees and affiliates alleged
Several online gambling information portals are
reporting major problems with turnkey provider Futurebet
- long the subject of player complaints - leading
several observers to believe that the company is in
serious trouble.
The respected sportsbetting portal Sports Book
Review.com reports that significant numbers of Futurebet
sites have gone offline, most recently BetandWinNet,
FunPlexCasino and Bignutzz. Other Futurebet brand owners
are expected to take their websites off-line this week,
according to SBR sources.
The portal reported three days ago that Linesmaker.co.uk
had closed, giving users the following message: "The
gaming platform provider for this website is claiming
insolvency and is no longer able to provide services".
The website also assured players that balances will be
honoured and users should contact an email address
specially set up to deal with the crisis fbrescue@linesmaker.com
to make arrangements.
SBR goes on to publish a long and detailed list of
crises involving Futurbet in recent times here:

.
Emails to top management at Futurebet requesting a
comment on the reports have gone unanswered thus far.
