TIDE TURNS FOR BET24
2 November 2007
Sportsbet firm reports third quarter profit
Sportsbetting company Bet24.com, which last year
reported a third quarter loss of Euro 814 000, turned
things around with the release of third quarter results
this week showing a profit of Euro 206 500.
The Malta licensed company withdrew from several market
regions during the year to focus on Eastern European and
Scandinavian markets, and the strategy appears to have
paid off.
Malta licensed Bet 24 offers sportsbook, racebook,
lottery, mobile, bingo room, soft games, casino and
poker room action using an interesting mix of gambling
softwares that includes Parspro from Iceland, GTS, Net
Entertainment and Ongame from Sweden and Dynamite Ideas
from the UK. The site comes in a wide range of European
language versions.
Bet24 is owned by Nordic Betting Ltd.
