Online gambling group now part of a global fraud protection system

Ethoca, the international network for collaborative fraud management, has welcomed to its ranks the Gibraltar-based online gambling group Mansion.

One of the better-known online gaming brands thanks to its sponsorship of Tottenham Hotspur FC, Mansion.com joins a list of e-gaming companies already collaborating through the Ethoca Community.

Mansion Group CEO Guy Gussarsky stated "Offering the best value in online gaming means we must continue to stay at the cutting edge of fraud prevention, to offer the best possible protection for our members. Ethoca's innovative platform for anti-fraud collaboration is unique and allows Mansion.com to benefit from the payment experiences of other companies. It is a real breakthrough in fraud management."

The Ethoca members include financial providers, Internet based retailers and online gaming operators. The network allows online businesses to increase profitability by distinguishing between reliable and unreliable transactions which reduces losses and the threat of non-payment.

According to recent research, better fraud management can result in e-businesses recovering a total of over GBP15 billion in previously foregone annual revenue.

Ethoca President and CEO Andre Edelbrock said "The online gaming industry is strongly on board with the idea of collaborating to stop fraud, with four of the top five, and many more of the top 50 already committed to working together through Ethoca's Community. Most fraud management is about reducing risk; Ethoca is unique because we're also about increasing revenues."
