BIG BUCKS AT MEGA MOOLAH
16 May 2008
Microgaming progressive now up to $2.9 million
after earlier $5.5 million hit
The Microgaming progressive jackpot slot Mega Moolah -
hit recently for $5.5 million by Finnish player KlausE -
has already climbed to $2.9 million and counting in a
week that has seen a number of large wins by online
players on a variety of softwares including that from
rivals Cryptologic and Playtech.
Earlier in the week a Euro 289 500 hit was made on
Playtech's "Queen of the Pyramids" at Europa Casino by
player SisselA. Then there was the 30-year-old unnamed
player from Denmark who won a remarkable Euro 323 578 in
one day at Windows Casino....all without using
progressives. The Cryptologic-powered Littlewoods
Casino.com was the venue for the creation of the latest
instant online gambling millionaire this week when
player "Graystash" hit a $1.3 million progressive
jackpot on the "Millionaire's Club." CryptoLogic also
lays claim to the largest jackpot win in the history of
online gaming - more than $8 million to a player from
InterCasino.com last year.
The jungle themed Mega Moolah is a five reel, twenty
five pay-line slot machine, with a four-tiered jackpot,
free spins and a fortune telling monkey. It has four
progressive jackpot levels: Mini Progressive, starting
at $10; Minor Progressive, starting at $100; Major
Progressive, starting at $10,000; and Mega Progressive,
which starts at an incredible $1,000,000.
