Fruits of the deal with Paramount Pictures now available to online slot fans

The much awaited new series of movie-themed online slots flowing from a licensing agreement between Party Gaming and Paramount Pictures (see previous InfoPowa report) was launched on the Party Casino website this week.

Popular film themes for the slots series include the disco dancing Saturday Night Fever; jet fighter combat from Top Gun; spy action thrills from Mission Impossible and a touch of the Mafia in The Godfather.

Announcing the movie deal earlier this year, Party's Chief Executive Mitch Garber said: “Popular brands are a differentiating factor in online gaming and this alliance will enhance and distinguish the quality of PartyCasino’s offer.”

Garber revealed that a similar deal with another studio was under negotiation and would be disclosed before the middle of the financial year, introducing more themed slots for Party Casino's almost 60 strong games inventory.

Party's initiative follows a trend to slot themes encompassing major comic heroes or shoot 'em up stars pioneered by Cryptologic and Microgaming in recent years, which has seen the debut of Marvel comic range heroes on Cryptologic slots, and Hitman and Tomb Raider on top-of-the-range Microgaming offerings.
