600 variations of the 16 top casino games for under $20


The Texas games developer Encore Software has launched digital downloads of its popular gambling product Hoyle Casino 2008 in a bid to access both PC and Mac markets via the Internet.

Macgamestores have been pushing the casino software, which comprises some 600 variations of the 16 top casino games, for under $20 and Encore has made an online demo available for players to try out.

A company spokesman said that the games are set in a realistic Las Vegas environment, with an easy-to-use interface giving access to Texas Hold'Em and other casino games such as Baccarat, Blackjack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Fortune Pai-Gow Poker, Four Card Poker, Horse Racing, Keno, Let It Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Roulette, Royal Match 21, Slots, Video Poker, Three Card Poker, Video Blackjack, Solitaire and Spades.

System requirements call for G3, G4, G5 or Intel Core Duo processor, 600 MHz or higher, 256 MB RAM, 32MB VRAM and 1 GB of hard drive space.
