Australian online betting group migrates to UK
platform
Centrebet International Ltd is the latest online
gambling group to migrate to the Orbis OpenBet ‘One
Account, One Wallet’ solution, after years of operating
a proprietary system.
The deal includes the integration of OpenBet Sportsbook
and Fixed Odds Games modules, with functionality from
the OpenBet Marketing module to follow in Phase 2 of
development, a statement from Orbis disclosed this week.
In addition to the comprehensive back-office management
tools and applications of OpenBet Sportsbook including
the migration onto OpenBet Call Centre technology for
telephone bets, Centrebet also gains the ability to
operate multiple sites or brands for ‘white label’
opportunities. Centrebet can now provide custom built
betting products with full service, risk and account
management to third parties.
Centrebet’s non-Australian customers will have access to
a selection of graphically rich instant-play Flash based
games featured in the OpenBet Fixed Odds Games module.
Phase Two sees the addition of the OpenBet Marketing
module, which will also allow Centrebet to carry out
targeted marketing campaigns and player promotional
activity, facilitating seamless cross-marketing between
different products and platforms.
David Loveday, Managing Director of Orbis, said, "Centrebet
is a fundamental player in the Southern Hemisphere and
key to our expansion in the global market. The OpenBet
platform will enable Centrebet to extend their product
offerings across multiple platforms as well allow them
to offer white labels and deliver comprehensive
marketing and promotional campaigns."
Centrebet Managing Director, Con Kafataris, said “White
labelling will offer Centrebet partners the opportunity
of a fully functional “turnkey” betting product. They
will also have the advantage of Centrebet’s proven risk
management, which consistently produces higher gross
margins compared to any Australian online competitor.
"This brings us one step closer to launching our sport
and racing mobile product. Mobile phones are no longer
simply communication tools, but are now also
sophisticated content delivery systems that can also
process transactions” he said. “We are poised for growth
in remote betting with the convenience and flexibility
of this product.”
