Taking care of fraud and false ID

Red Planet Gaming software will embed Iovation's fraud management solution within the company's online gaming risk management tools following an agreement signed this week.

Iovation pioneered the use of reputation technology for online fraud management and multi-factor authentication in online gaming, financial services and e-commerce industries. Iovation Reputation Services links user accounts with devices and utilizes the reputation of those devices to guard against online fraud. The fraud management tool includes a new proprietary geolocation technology that allows customers to meet new compliance requirements such as validating player country codes.

Iovation leverages its historical repository, containing PC reputations and suspicious associations, to enable its customers to screen transactions using fact-based fraud evidence against any PC. Iovation FraudManager identifies all suspicious linkages between the PC and other accounts across its global repository. As a result, both new and existing account fraud can be stopped proactively.
