EVOLUTION IN DYNASTY GAMING'S FUTURE
4 May 2007
UK company to distribute Mahjong Mania
Dynasty Gaming Inc. has racked up another successful
contract for its popular Mahjong Mania product with the
announcement that it has signed up Evolution Gaming
Limited in Britain for the distribution of Dynasty's
Mahjong Mania software. Evolution Gaming is one of the
UK's leading developers and value-added resellers of
gaming software, targeting the Asia market in
particular.
Albert Barbusci, chief executive of the Toronto-listed
Dynasty Gaming, said, "Our Mahjong Mania software
provides the only aggregate, cash wager and
play-for-points Mahjong game available for Internet use,
and there is growing acceptance that Mahjong may
overtake poker in terms of numbers of players within
Asia. The signing of this agreement with Evolution
Gaming represents a further step in our strategy of
capturing and owning the global Mahjong market."
Evolution Gaming's chief executive, Jens von Bahr,
commented, "This agreement with Dynasty is a fantastic
opportunity for both companies because it enhances our
own product offering and it further increases the
revenue potential of Mahjong Mania once it becomes fully
operational within our agent network."
Dynasty has made some useful high value Chinese
partnerships in recent times. In cooperation with
Beijing-based 95Joy, Dynasty is aggressively pursuing
agreements with major companies in the People's Republic
of China for the development, marketing and distribution
of government-approved online applications for its
proprietary Mahjong software. Success to date includes
the establishment of a relationship with Beijing Junnet
Online E-Commerce Limited, one of the largest prepaid
card distributors in China, for the marketing and
distribution of prepaid cards for accessing a
play-for-points version of Mahjong on sites in China.
Dynasty has also entered into a partnership with
Sohu.com Inc., one of China's most widely used
interactive online sources for information,
entertainment and communications incorporating a major
portal with more than 100 million registered users.
The company's relationship with Sun Media Investment
Holdings Ltd., China's largest privately owned
multi-media provider, represents a powerful channel
through which to create enhanced awareness of an online
version of Mahjong, a national sport in China. An
agreement also exists with SSI covering welfare
lotteries, which further expands the range of
distribution channels through which Dynasty-sourced
content will be marketed and managed in China. An
agreement with Las Vegas From Home.com Entertainment
Inc. allows Dynasty to provide all of its marketing
channel partners with customised Mahjong games together
with LVFH's full suite of popular Asian-style specialty
games.
Commencement of multi-site online play of Mahjong in
China is expected to begin in April, 2007. Competition
for seats at a World Cup of Mahjong event, scheduled for
June 2007 in Macau, PRC, will serve as an incentive for
a large universe of players.
