Leading UK television stars contracted for new show


The AIM-listed interactive gambling group NetPlay TV plc has secured a deal with both Jim Bowen, plus Cannon and Ball to join their host bingo presenter, Greg Scott for the launch of a brand new TV programme, Celebrity TV Bingo.

The show will be hosted by Greg Scott, who will be joined by ex-Bulleyes presenter, Jim Bowen, and comedians, Cannon and Ball to host a daily bingo show aired between 9am and 12 noon. The show will allow bingo players the opportunity to play both online and on the TV at the same time. Users will be able to print out their bingo cards and mark them off in the comfort of their own home.

Celebrity TV Bingo will be aired daily on Sky Channel 847. Players will have the chance to win instant cash prizes as well as the opportunity to interact with the celebrities.

This exciting new show will be on air this summer and comes as a result of the acquisition by NetPlay TV plc of Bingos.com, one of the Europe's leading online bingo companies (see previous InfoPowa report). NetPlay TV paid GBP 6.25 million for the Bingos business adding over 1 million registered users to its bingo operation. Bingos operates in the UK, Spain, Italy and Poland.
