Encouraged by the popularity of its inaugural European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP), VC Poker has announced a bigger, better tournament for its second edition this year.

ECOOP II will have more players, more prizes and most importantly, more money as it seeks to crown Europe’s ultimate poker champion.

With a massive $3.6 Million guaranteed prize-pool paid out over an action-packed 10 day online competition, ECOOP is comprised of prize pools ranging from $100 000 all the way up to $1 500 000. In addition, the top 100 players in the 10 Main events will be awarded a seat in an exclusive $50 000 MVP Freeroll, the winner of which will be crowned the 2008 ECOOP II Most Valuable Player.

If the crown of Online European Poker Champion and a cache of cash prizes wasn’t enticement enough, each tournament winner (including the ECOOP MVP) will receive an ECOOP winner's bracelet, symbolic of poker supremacy.

The main events are made up of No Limit & Limit Texas Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo.

Satellites for the event commence early March, and the championship proper will be held between May 25 and June 4, 2008.
