300 000 PLAYERS NOW REGISTERED AT PKR POKER

UIGEA hasn't held this venue back
A poker site that has shown remarkable growth despite
having to blockade US players claims that since December
last alone its player base has grown by 200 000,
reaching a total of 300 000 players already this year.
Despite predictions that its graphics-heavy 3D nature
would work against it, PKR.com has been packing the
poker players in.
"We're thrilled to be seeing these kinds of numbers,"
says Simon Prodger, Marketing Director of PKR, "and it
proves that PKR has taken a very strong hold of the
online poker market. What's more, our growth is
continuing to accelerate, so this is just the
beginning."
Prodger reports that daily play rates have reached
almost 7 000 players during peak periods, ensuring
players find both opponents and action in cash games and
tournament activity. PKR uses privately developed
software and is not a part of any poker network.
