CONFERENCE CORNER
15 June 2007
The focus is on Europe
Organisers River City Group say that judging from the
responses already, the 6th Annual European i-Gaming
Congress & Expo (EiG) is going to be Europe's largest, i-gaming
industry event yet.
If you decided to give GIGSE a miss this year, then you
can't skimp on the networking opportunities in
Barcelona, so now's probably a good time to reserve your
place at http://www.eigexpo.com/2007/index.cfm/page/register
to take advantage of discounted hotel rates.
Early warning for Africa
The inaugural African Gaming Summit conference takes
place between 5 and 6 September 2007 in a spectacularly
beautiful part of the world - Cape Town, South Africa.
The conference will explore the new regulatory
legislation under consideration in South Africa that
could make this infrastructurally well developed country
a new haven for online gambling, together with other
topical issues of concern to the industry.
AGS-iGaming is co-located with ATE's Terrestrial
Gambling conference which will focus on the Pan-African
land-based gambling industry. These conferences follow
the International Masters of Gaming Law conference,
making Cape Town the industry's headquarters for a full
week.
Attendees and speakers will represent both the domestic
African market and the international gaming world, as
players investigate new opportunities for market entry,
partnerships, acquisitions or investment. For more
