GamArena skill games network will receive a major
player boost
GamArena AB has announced that it has signed a contract
with Scandinavian Internet betting group Unibet for the
supply and network access to its range of skill games,
including 8-ball pool, solitaire, golf hole-in-one and
backgammon.
Andrew Pegler, managing director of GamArena, said: “We
are extremely excited to be working with such a strong
organisation as Unibet and to add them to our network.
Unibet is an innovator in the online betting and gaming
sector and we consider GamArena to be the next
generation in P2P skill games and we look forward to
delivering a compelling games experience to Unibet
customers.”
Pegler said the applications will be fully integrated
into Unibet's platform, customised and wrapped within
the Unibet brand and fully integrated with Unibet's
existing games and applications, such as the lobby,
account and chat facilities.
Petter Nylander, chief operating officer of Unibet
commented that multiplayer games have become an
important part of the Unibet offering as the group
continues to develop its MoneyTainment strategy. "GamArena
fits very well into this strategy and we are looking
forward to an active and profitable relationship with
them," he said.
GamArena AB is jointly owned by the Swedish Jadestone
Group AB and PAF, a Finnish online gambling company.
