Online gambling group selects Neovia’s Netbanx and Neteller for online payment processing
 

The Isle of Man-based e-cash processor Neovia Financial plc has been chosen by online sportsbook SBObet to process payments for its betting websites.

With operations in Asia and Europe, SBObet offers over 500 sporting events every week, including all major soccer leagues and international sporting events, and is the current shirt sponsor of West Ham United in England’s Premier League (see previous InfoPowa report).

The gambling company is about to launch the first ‘live dealer’ casino licenced by the Isle of Man Government at casino.sbobet.com, and this will also use Neovia facilities to process payments. Both of these sites will be using the Neteller e-wallet and the Netbanx payment gateway for global processing across Europe and Asia.

Bill Mummery, SBObet executive director said this week: “We’re working with Neovia as its solutions strengthen the offering to our customers while providing us with security and a business edge. We see tremendous scope for developing our B2C offering from our Isle of Man presence to a global audience.”
