OSKARSSON APPOINTED SWEDISH MANAGER FOR MR GREEN

Local growth a priority for new exec
 

The Swedish online casino Mr Green.com has increases its focus on the Swedish market by recruiting Daniel Oskarsson in the new post of country manager, with responsibilities to expand the regional market.

Powered by Nyx Interactive, Net Entertainment and Betsoft Gaming, and founded by two of the original Betsson founders, Mr Green was launched in Sweden in August 2008 and in Norway in September 2008. It recently opened in Austria in July, 2009 (see previous InfoPowa report).

“With a dedicated Swedish country manager we can maintain and increase our growth in Sweden while continuing our rapid expansion into new markets” said Mikael Pawlo, managing director of Mr Green.

Oskarsson has a background in advertising from McCann, Nofrontiere (Austria), Getupdated and Dropit. He has recently been head of advertising and Internet with Telge Energi, one of the fastest growing consumer oriented energy companies in Sweden.

“I enjoy the fresh thinking Mr Green adds to the casino industry and I am impressed with the company’s communication thus far," Oskarsson commented this week. "I like the gentleman’s attitude used not only in the casino brand, but also in all communication and even the internal company culture."
