Former Centrebet exec appointed Chief Marketing Officer
 

The European-facing online gambling group Expekt.com has appointed Swedish exec Mats Johnson, who has online gambling management experience with the Centrebet, Coral Eurobet and Playsafe groups, as its marketing chief.

On the Expekt.com blog this week, Johnson writes that he is looking forward to his new responsibilities He has held management positions in Iraq, Egypt, the United States, Canada, Australia, Scandinavia and the UK, the blog reveals.

Per Widstrom, Expekt's CEO, to whom Johnson will report, said that the new marketing chief's wide experience in the industry will make a major contribution to the group.

Together with an even more attractive Expekt offering, in the form of the recently launched new Microgaming-powered Expekt online casino, and the group's new ownership by Mangas Gaming, the management team has an exciting future ahead, Widstrom added.

Johnson replaces Jörgen Andersson who leaves Expekt later this year after a handover during the autumn.
