German lottery specialist to power new service for
major British media group
The convergance of betting, media and entertainment
continued this week with the announcement that the UK
media group The Mirror has signed a deal with MyLotto24
for the provision of online games to readers of the
Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror, who will be able to take
part in daily lotteries from across Europe, including
MyLotto24's EuroMillions.
MyLotto24 is part of the German Tipp24 group, a highly
experienced online service for state-run lotteries in
Europe. Founded in 1999 by Marc Peters and Jens
Schumann, the group boasts over 2 million customers and
operates in four countries (Germany, Italy, Spain and
the UK), is listed on the German stock exchange and
handles online transactions worth over Euro 340 million
every year.
Launch dates for the service are yet to be announced.
