Ex-Littlewoods exec to run online and mobile gambling investment firm


London-listed Gaming Ventures plc has announced the appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Jeremy Collis. The position is a new one created to widen the business scope of director Graham Martin.

Collis joins Gaming Ventures from Littlewoods Pools, where he was managing director.

Listed since March 2007, Gaming Ventures was established for the purpose of investing in and acquiring assets, businesses and companies which are profitable, or have the potential of being profitable in the online and mobile gaming markets. In April 2007 the firm acquired The Spirit of Sport Limited - a marketing services company - for GBP 500 000. In the same month GV also bought online bingo and casino firm Big Heart Bingo Limited for GBP 125 000, and the mobile gaming company Shouting Duck Limited.
