Affiliates get advance notification that player acquisition is to cease

After a remarkably short life of only weeks, Casino Nordica.com is to close its doors to new players from July 2nd 2007, as part of a wind down in activity. Nordica is a sister casino to Casino.dk owned by a reputable Danish company Casinocontanter.com Limited licensed in Malta. The group includes a poker site on the Merge network and a mobile gambling arm powered by Spin3.

In a letter to affiliates this week, manager Chris Morton advises that CasinoNordica.com is to close in regards to new player acquisitions effective July 2nd 2007, and recommends the immediate removal of all banners and linking codes.

Morton continues: "This decision has been made so the company can focus on its strengths which are the core brands, Casino.dk and PokerNordica.com."

From July 2nd all existing players at CasinoNordica.com will be able to log in and play, but only for the next 6 months. During this period all commission from players will be paid to affiliates until the operation finally closes all existing player accounts and totally ceases accepting wagers from existing players.

All linking codes pointing to CasinoNordica.com will be directed and tracked to PokerNordica.com.
