With the industry's major show imminent, new games are proliferating

Only days after the release of the branded slot Hellboy (see previous InfoPowa report), online gambling software provider Microgaming has released another two slots, joining a slew of providers who have been pushing out new offerings this month on the eve of the IGE-ICEi shows late January in London.

Microgaming's latest offerings are two new feature-rich video slots with some innovative winning twists, with Arctic antics and a robot servant providing the themes.

ARCTIC FORTUNE takes players on a wintry adventure through the frozen Arctic wilderness in search of untold riches. This 5 reel, multiple ways to win slot, features fierce warriors, icy landscapes, wolves, drinking horns and brimming treasure chests in some rather sinister looking locations.

This slot has no paylines, instead offering ways to win rewards through a combination of multipliers, a second screen bonus, and free spins. Three, four or five treasure maps open a memorable, if scary, second screen bonus where the player can win up to 40 re-triggering free spins with variable multipliers of up to six times.

Look out for the Wild in thi slot, an exquisite Arctic Fortune Shield icon that helps players to build wins when it appears on reels two or four.

In complete contrast, Robbie the ROBOT BUTLER is the main character in a Microgaming five reel, 20 payline video slot.

The robot symbol is the one to look out for across reels one and five simultaneously, triggering the Robot Butler bonus feature, where the player gets to choose an item for the robot to find, and their reward depends on his success.

Robot Butler also offers free spin treats, including re-retriggering free spins with mystery multipliers, which pop up when three of the butler's trays appear across the reels.

Rounding off the game is a Gamble feature, where players can double or quadruple wins by correctly predicting the suit and colour of the next card to appear.
