8 January 2010
The UK's Gambling Commission does not come
cheap
According to an article in the January issue of the
magazine Gamesworld, the costs of regulating the British
gambling industry have tripled since the advent of the
Gambling Commission in 2005.
Gamesworld claims
that annual costs of running the Gambling Commission now
stand at GBP 15 million compared to the GBP 5 million
