NEOGAMES GOES FARMING
1 January 2010
Online scratchcard games developer exploits a
popular social gaming trend
Farming-related applications are the most popular games
on Chinese social networks, and the genre is booming on
western sites like Facebook with offerings like
Farmville, Farm Town and Country Story released by
developers such as Zynga and Playfish. This week it
appears that online scratchcard software developer
Neogames has spotted the trend too, launching its own
agricultural application to licensees.
The latest
new scratch game to enhance the Neogames burgeoning
gaming portfolio is branded called Cash Farm, and
revolves around the most popular farmyard characters -
sheep, ducks, cows.... and of course two farmers.
Cash Farm has been localised and translated into 18
European languages in order to cater for the global
audience accessed by the firm's white label websites.
