Stanleybet wins Greek case
Further to InfoPowa's earlier report today on
Stanleybet's confrontation with the Greek government and
its OPAP monopoly, Reuters reports that an Athens court
has ruled that Stanleybet can reopen its outlet in the
Greek capital city.
The Greek authorities shut down the fixed-odds betting
company’s newly opened Athens and Tessaloniki outlets
late last year following an illegal gambling complaint
from OPAP.
