Clinton comeback


Premature judgement of the week has to be the decision by bookie group Paddy Power to pay out the punters who had backed Senator Barak Obama to win the New Hampshire primaries in the US race for presidential nomination.....PP made the move the day before Senator Hillary Clinton took the Democratic vote by a margin of 3 percent in a surprise comeback over Obama.

In fairness, PP was not the only one misled by almost universal predictions of an Obama victory following his successful performance in Iowa - political analysts, media experts and opinion polls all got it wrong.
