Online poker site offers a path to holding your own major SuperBowl bash

PartyPoker marketers have launched another innovative promotion linked to the forthcoming big event in US sport - the Superbowl.

This year, PartyPoker is hoping to help one winning fan throw the best party ever by offering a $10 000 Gridiron Party promotion, a company spokesman revealed this week.

"From a gigantic TV to your own cheerleading troupe, you can have the party of your dreams," the company promises, although it does not accept US business.

To enter the competition, players must have five standard PartyPoints, with lists closing midnight tonight (Friday)

Players who qualified between January 5 - 11 will earn a seat in one of four poker qualifiers. From there, the top 150 in each playoff game will move on to one of two semi-final rounds, with the top 50 players in each semi-final round moving forward to finals where that $10 000 top prize will be up fopr grabs.

The semi-final rounds will take place next week, leaving the final 100 players to take to their own field - of green felt - to face off for the top prize on January 26. At each stage, every player who exits the tournament will also receive a free bet to use on PartyBets.com where another $10 000 party prize is being offered as a consolation.
