iOS apps based on successful full-size land

US gambling games and equipment supplier Bally
Technologies added impetus to its pursuit of the online
and mobile sector of the industry Thursday with the
release of four new titles to its library of
play-for-fun mobile applications.
Cash Wizard,
Golden Pharaoh, Fireball and Betty Boop's Love Meter are
all based on the successful full-size casino versions of
these popular games, and are available to download from
iTunes for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
The
releases bring to nine the Bally titles now available,
with more than 92,000 downloaded in just over a year.
"We're growing our mobile play-for-fun
application library at a rapid pace and we're looking
forward to introducing additional titles like Betty
Boop's Fortune Teller, Hot Spin, and Lighting
Jackpots," said Dan Savage, Bally Interactive's vice
president of marketing this week.
"Cash Wizard,
Golden Pharaoh, Fireball, and Betty Boop's Love Meter
are all standouts on casino floors," he said. "With
bonus features, outstanding interactive-gameplay,
trailblazing play mechanics, and a GPS-enabled locator
feature to help players find the real slot in a nearby
casino, these apps are also standouts among mobile
casino games.
"Cash Wizard, Golden Pharaoh,
Fireball, and Betty Boop's Love Meter join Bally's other
play-for-fun app titles like Cash Spin, Vegas Hits,
Playboy Hot Zone, Triple Trouble Poker, and Code Red."
The Cash Wizard mobile app comes to life with
full animation and graphics. Like the real version found
on casino floors, the game offers gameplay and bonuses.
The mobile version of Cash Wizard also includes the
1970s hit-song "Magic", which can be downloaded
directly through the app from iTunes.
Golden
Pharaoh features game mechanics like U-Spin, a
gesture-control technology that enables players to touch
and spin a virtual wheel during a bonus round. Another
player-favourite play mechanic offered in Golden Pharaoh
is Directional Wilds, where a "wild" dial appears on a
reel and spins, making every symbol in line with the
pointing dial wild.
Fireball features a
towering, eye-catching upper screen and upbeat music,
and includes Bally's popular Game-in-Game feature as a
unique eight-level progressive.The app delivers a host
of classic and popular Bally titles in one action-packed
package.
Betty Boop's Love Meter brings to life
America's sweetheart in an engaging and fun mobile game.
Featuring Betty and her sidekick Pudgy, this slot game
offers nine bonuses available at any bet and a variety
of enticing progressive jackpots. In the "How Hot Are
You?" bonus, players place their thumbs on the
touchscreen to have their "love temperature" read.
Each of the apps are Game Center-enabled, allowing
players to track their progress and compete against each
other on leader boards and against themselves to earn
virtual badges and rewards.
