Jump Racing at Warwick Racecourse  

Betfair has expanded its horse racing sponsorship portfolio with Warwick Racecourse's The Kingmaker Day.

The race is known for producing top Cheltenham Festival horses and this will be Betfair's first sponsorship of this annual event will take place on February 11, 2012.

Huw Williams, managing director of Warwick Racecourse, said: "We are delighted to welcome Betfair as the new sponsor for Kingmaker Day which is not only one of the highlights of the racecourse's calendar but also of the jump racing season as a whole in Britain.

Betfair spokesperson Tony Calvin said: "We are delighted to have secured the sponsorship of such a prestigious and high profile meeting as Kingmaker Day at Warwick Racecourse on 11 February.

"Given that we are also sponsoring the whole Newbury card as a part of 'Betfair Super Saturday' on 11 February, this association ensures that we are backing all the terrestrial television races on this day."
