One of the most popular games developed by
Microgaming - Thunderstruck - has a sequel in the wings
Developed in-house and launched in 2003, the
multi-featured video slot Thunderstruck is generally
regarded as one of online gambling software provider
Microgaming's top games...and the good news is that
there's more to come.
After previewing a sequel
titled Thunderstruck 2 at the recent ICEi show in
London, the Isle of Man software provider has announced
that it will launch the new game a little later this
(2010) year.
The announcement notes that careful
and player-sensitive decisions were made in the
development process to ensure the sequel remains true to
the essence of the games unique brand and personality.
Company spokesmen said that the player
experience is taken to an entirely new level through the
introduction of vibrant hand painted graphics, an epic
musical score and a gallery of special features that
will appeal to a wide demographic of players. The game
will be available with an increased screen resolution of
up to 1024 x 768 to optimise the user experience, and
will also allow players to enjoy running four other
casino games concurrently through multiple, tabulated
in-client functions. This personalises player experience
by giving the player the ability to prioritise and keep
pages open within the casino, whilst simultaneously
playing their favourite games.
