Games distribution specialist and ISP join in
new venture
Italian market moves this week have seen the
announcement of a new venture between the Italian ISP
Tiscali and games software distributor Nexway Games.
The agreement will result in a new Games channel on
the Italian portal, allowing Tiscali to offer users
games for their computers from the wide Nexway Games'
catalogue on giochi.tiscali.it. A new downloading portal
- digitaldownload.it - is already available on the
Tiscali Giochi home page.
Nexway has a solid
reputation in Italy and Frances having won several
leading awards. The company manages the official e-shops
for many major software and games vendors and offers its
catalogue of games and software (a total of 13 000
products available for download) via more than 300
outlets available on main retailers, e-merchants and
ISPs websites throughout Europe, including Fnac.com, El
Corte Inglés, Tiscali, IDG (PC Advisor), Gamesload and
the Dell Download Store.
