Astra Games signs up for the popular Openbet system, and is to provide games library

 

Wales-based Astra Games Limited, a subsidiary of the Austrian Novomatic group, has inked a deal with Orbis Openbet through which it will make its online games available through the Novomatic remote gaming system.

Zane Mersich, managing director of Astra says: “With the pedigree of game themes available in both Novomatic's and Astra's outstanding [games] library, it was critical that we formed a partnership with a provider that promoted the qualities and standards essential in delivering the games in a form that meets with the high expectations players have of Novomatic products.”

Orbis chief executive David Loveday commented: "The NRGS [Novomatic Remote Gaming System] system is able, for the first time, to introduce Novomatic’s and Astra’s highly renowned game themes to OpenBet and the Orbis customer base. The success of the games from the land based gaming arena will undoubtedly be mirrored in the online world.”
