Six figures payouts for top three players in NLHE
event
The eleventh edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker
Series continued to attract large crowds of players this
week, with Event 10, a $300+22 no-limit hold 'em
tournament guaranteeing $1,5 million in prizes, pulling
‘em in.
The event was supported by 5 325
entries, generating a prize pool that exceeded the
guarantee by $97 500 – the biggest thus far in an
exciting series of tournaments.
Surviving the
field, and a hectic final table was Steve "gboro780"
Gross, who took home $275 600 and change for his time
and effort. The six figure payments stretched to the top
three finishers, with Gross’s heads up opponent
BUSTYOU79 collecting a check for $166,938.75 and third
placed Shoomie a useful payout of $107 352.
Gross
entered heads up play with a more than $7 million
advantage in chips, ensuring a brief two hands of heads
up play before the match was decided.
