INTERACTIVE TV GAMES ORDERED FOR UK PUB CONSOLES
29 February 2008
Eight popular games to be delivered to Bigfizz
British interactive television firm Two Way TV has
signed a deal with the Bigfizz UK pub console games
developer which will see eight of its popular games
licensed for use on SWP (Skill With Prizes) terminals
throughout UK pubs, as well as other entertainment
venues including cinemas and bowling alleys. This latest
deal comes as Two Way TV seeks to expand the use of its
games onto new commercial platforms.
This latest tie-up with BigFizz means that a new
audience will be able to enjoy Two Way TV’s entertaining
interactive games. Games included in the deal are String
‘em In, Deal with It, BuzzWords, JellySets, Match Blox,
Tactiles, Tactiles Attack and Picnic Antics.
This latest licensing agreement builds on Two Way TV’s
presence which includes its own-branded games channel on
Virgin Media, a white label games service with BT Vision
and the licensing of its most successful game, String
‘em In, on Sky’s leading UK games portal Sky Games.
James Turner, Two Way TV’s head of sales, comments:
"This latest licensing deal is part of our strategy to
aggressively expand and extend our presence on games
platforms, so that a wider audience can enjoy our unique
and inclusive interactive games. Bigfizz is a well-known
games developer for pub consoles and we are excited
about the market potential of this new partnership."
Scott Campbell, a director of Bigfizz, added: "We are
thrilled to be working with Two Way TV, pioneers in the
interactive games market who have developed compelling
and innovative games which are bound to prove popular
with SWP audiences. Combining our expertise creates a
great package for SWP networks."
