Showbiz celebrity Kenny Rogers fronts in MyNuMo deal


iPhone and iPod touch users will now know when to hold’em and when to fold’em with the launch of famous country and western singer Kenny Rogers’ GamblerMobile.com Casino Club.

The GamblerMobile.com today announced an agreement with San Diego-based game publisher MyNuMo to launch a series of web application casino games for the iPhone and iPod touch that feature the Kenny Rogers Gambler brand and style. MyNuMo CEO William Volk says the fun and legal games will feature Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, Slots and additional titles organised for solo and network play.

He added that one of the new games, 'The Gambler Mobile Roulette’ is already one of the most popular web applications listed on Apple’s Web Apps site.

“It’s exciting to be offering new gaming experiences on innovative and ground breaking devices" says Kenny Rogers. “I’m a huge fan and I can tell you our casino games look and play great on the iPhone and iPod touch.”

Sherri Cuono, the president of MyNuMo revealed that the company has started with Blackjack, Roulette and Slots but will be launching a series of casino games that includes social games featuring networking capabilities that allow people to enter tournaments, play and chat with each other.

Harold Weiner, a volunteer who tested the games online, said, "It plays just like an online casino. Everything is very user-friendly."
