Interactive UK television group inroduces a Boot
Camp in Bristol
British online pokerheads who want to polish their poker
skills are being offered the first ever Sky Poker
Bootcamp, scheduled to run in Bristol, England on the
8th and 9th March this year.
The Boot Camp is strictly limited to only 60 students to
ensure everyone gets maximum attention from the Sky
Poker presenters hosting the event.
Chief instructors will be Sky Poker’s Matt Broughton and
Nick Wealthall with the Tony ‘Tikay’ Kendal and Kara
Scott also on hand to ensure plenty of one-to-one
interaction with the players.
Other familiar faces from Sky Poker’s 'The Open', 'The
Club' and 'Poker Week' will be dropping by so it will be
a great opportunity for players to meet some of the best
known names in UK poker.
The highlight of the weekend promises to be a Saturday
night tournament where all 60 players will compete with
the instructors and personalities from Sky Poker. Awards
will accompany the bragging rights that go with knocking
out Tikay and the other bounty players.
The Sky Poker Boot Camp is open to all and carries a
buy-in of GBP 250, which includes one night’s
accommodation, meals and Boot Camp tournament entry.
Players can qualify for the Sky Poker Boot Camp through
the series of satellites running in the Sky Poker
Tournament Lobby.
