EASTERN EUROPEAN ORDER FOR INTERNET CONSOLE PRODUCT
22 February 2008
First buyer for Net Entertainment's new CasinoCafe
product
Visitors to the Net Entertainment stand at the ICE show
in London this January clustered around an impressive
new console gambling product with outstanding games and
graphics branded CasinoCafe, and this week the Swedish
company announced the first purchase order.
The order comes from an Eastern European buyer who
wishes to remain anonymous at this stage, but is
described as a company with four decades of land-based
casino experience. The intention is to launch the
product as a pilot project in an Eastern European
country during the first half of 2008, followed by a
broader roll-out over time.
"We are delighted to sign this pilot order for
CasinoCafé, a product which we believe has great
potential," the CEO of Net Entertainment, Johan Ohman
commented. "CasinoCafé combines the cost efficient
operation of an online casino with the market potential
of distribution through physical outlets. This allows us
to target a new and very interesting market segment."
Öhman described CasinoCafé as an excellent example of a
cost efficient alternative to parties that wish to tap
into the vast land based gambling market. "We have
received much interest for CasinoCafé and expect to sign
additional orders in the months to come," he revealed.
