CASINO ACTION GROUP COMMENTS ON SEAL SUSPENSION
22 February 2008
"Purely administrative issues" will be resolved
shortly says spokesman
A spokesman for Casino Action, the Australian online
casino group that saw six of its eCOGRA "fair and safe"
seals suspended this week (see previous InfoPowa
reports), expects to see the group reinstated soon.
Posting on the Casinomeister message board, the
spokesman claimed that the issues leading to the
suspension are "purely administrative issues that will
be resolved shortly."
eCOGRA has not released details on the suspensions,
other than to report that investigations are ongoing by
its Compliance Team, which uncovered the irregularities
during a routine on-site review of the group.
Confirming that his company has been in disvussions with
eCOGRA, the spokesman added: "We had delayed posting as
we thought this would have been resolved in 24hrs, but
as I am sure most of you know these kind of things tend
to take longer than you would expect.
"In no way has our honesty, integrity or customer
service been questioned and our reputation speaks for
itself!
"We are expecting our eCogra seals will be reinstated
very soon, but in the meantime it is business as usual."
