Access to sportsbetting, poker and over 100 casino
games offered
Founded in Scandinavia in 2006, licensed in Malta and
operating from Costa Rica, Group Betsafe SA is perhaps
better known for sportsbetting operations and more
recently online poker on the Cryptologic platform, but
this week was promoting its new Net
Entertainment-powered online casino at Betsafe.com.
The company boasts a player base of over 60 000 online
gamblers from 100 different countries, and the online
casino operation has a games inventory in excess of a
hundred diverse products.
Betsafe CEO Andre Lavold signed up for a CasinoModule
package with Net Entertainment last September (see
previous InfoPowa report), saying: ”The fact that Net
Entertainment has a license in Malta and that their
product supports 21 languages means that we now have a
casino product that aids our continued expansion in
Europe.”
Visitors can bet on a myriad of sports games from soccer
to handball, choose their favourite from 8 types of
poker, or try their luck at a game of virtual bingo,
playing for practice in fun mode, or for real money.
"People love being able to play a variety of fun games
that win them money from the comfort of their own home,"
owner Rudi Thomassen says in the launch press release.
He goes to claim that responsible gaming is a key
objective, saying: "Responsible gambling is an important
thing to remember. Betsafe is meant to be a fun place
for entertainment."
