CONFERENCE CORNER
8 February 2008
Exhibitor space sold out at AiG
The Sixth Annual Asian i-Gaming Congress & Expo (AiG),
to be held February 26-28, has completely sold out of
exhibitor space, with over half of the stands occupied
by first-time exhibitors, reports organiser Clarion
Gaming.
Located at the Venetian Resort in Macau, the upcoming
conference and exhibition will not only spotlight
never-before-seen exhibitors at AiG, but has doubled the
amount of exhibitors over the 2007 event. Top-level
sponsors show the importance of branding to the expected
audience and include Berwin Leighton Paisner, Mahjong
Logic, Ongame Network, Playtech, Continent 8
Technologies, and Microgaming.
Keynote speaker Francis Lui is Deputy Chairman of Galaxy
Entertainment Group (GEG) who will share his outlook on
the i-gaming industry. Drawing upon his expertise in
hotel management and real estate development, Lui has a
unique vision for GEG, and attributes the company's
success to the fact that it is Chinese-owned and
operated.
The expanded AiG Congress boasts two stand-alone
pre-conference summits: one focusing on Asian marketing
strategies and another addressing Asian investment risks
and opportunities. The main conference agenda includes
forward-thinking sessions with regional operator case
studies, specialised streams covering critical I-Gaming
topics, and the latest in localized software and gaming
services.
