'REVERSAL OF FORTUNE' LAUNCHED
12 December 2008
Bet 365 offering latest JPM Interactive game
JPM interactive launched a brand new online SWP (skill
with prizes) game based on the new TV game Reversal of
Fortune onto online gambling site Bet365.com this week.
Reversal of Fortune features popular UK TV presenter
Eamonn Holmes and has a unique style of game play that
offers a novel experience for players. Those who have
tried to read something in a mirror will have a good
idea of how tough this game can be.
In the looking-glass world of the game, answers to
questions are shown back-to-front, and the skill
features - “Pair ‘Em Up”, “Reflections” and “Picture
Puzzle” - all require an ability to see things in
reverse.
After selecting a stake between GBP 1 and GBP 5 the
player is shown special footage shot with Eamonn Holmes
introducing the game with an explanation of what to
expect. This is followed by a game grid with 25 squares
behind which are a series of options or awards.
There are questions and skill puzzles that award points
to move up the points ladder earning prizes along the
way with up to GBP 50 on a maximum bet. In addition
there are a number of other symbols or awards. If a
player collects 4 clovers they win the online jackpot or
can receive extra chances in case of a wrong answer with
a Try Again icon. Other icons such as Mirror, Reveal and
Pass give further help to players in answering the more
difficult questions. Some icons allow the player to
still win points while others give no points but save
the player losing altogether.
There are no safety points if a player continues playing
after achieving a prize level and subsequently loses. At
each win point they are offered the option to collect or
continue. Awards are regular to ensure players do not
feel there is no point in carrying on but questions get
harder as they advance.
The only guaranteed prize is the Live Jackpot and if
this is achieved it is awarded whether the player wins
or loses in the main game.
Each individual question or puzzle is timed and unless a
player uses one of the bonuses to solve or pass the
puzzle he or she must complete the task in the time
allocated or the game will end once the time runs out.
Once all 25 squares have been used up a new grid is
generated and the game ends only when the maximum prize
is reached, the player loses from not answering a
question correctly or takes a prize offered without
continuing the game.
