12 December 2008
Jadestone’s multiplayer games network operational
Jadestone Networks, the Nordic based online games owner
and operator has announced that the multiplayer dice
games network DiceArena is now live and open for players
across Europe.
This week marks the beginning of the online multiplayer
dice era as the gates are now open for DiceArena players
at paf.com, the first partner to complete the
integration process and go live. Other partner sites are
expected to follow over the next few days (see previous
InfoPowa reports).
“It’s with immense pleasure that we now officially
inaugurate the DiceArena Network,” said Robert Henrysson,
CEO of Jadestone. “This has been a great team effort by
the whole company, from development to integration,
operations and marketing. We now look forward to working
closely with our network partners to get this product
off to a flying start.”
At launch, players will be able to try their luck in a
variety of cash games and tournaments in both the
featured dice games. For Texas Hold’em fans, there’s the
poker offshoot Dice Hold’em. For players seeking a more
casual experience, Shoot the Moons is a fast and
exciting table game with simple rules.
In early 2009, Jadestone’s dice game suite will be
expanded to include well-known bluffing game Liar’s Dice
(also known as Perudo). Sharing the same player identity
and avatar system, there will also be a full-fledged
Backgammon product.
