NEW OPERATING CHIEF FOR GAMESYS

Responsibilities include ramping up mobile gambling activity

 

Ex-Jamba, Fox Mobile and Vodafone exec Lee Fenton has joined the Gamesys management team as Chief Operating Officer, and will oversee the company's mobile gambling ramp up.

The appointment represents something of a coup for the UK-based company, whose Jackpotjoy subsidiary offers 80 bingo and instant win games such as The Price is Right Bingo and Deal or no Deal Slots, in addition to social networking.

Commenting on his new responsibilities, Fenton said: “Jackpotjoy is not only the country’s leading e-gaming site, but with it’s fantastic track record for product development and nurturing close relationships with its members based on enjoyment and responsibility, it is the most exciting digital brand in the UK.”

Welcoming Fenton, Gamesys chief executive Noel Hayden said: "Lee has built up a huge level of experience in developing truly engaging consumer experiences and content. Harnessing this experience will be a key part of our strategy to take Gamesys on to even greater success."
