STILL NO DEAL FOR INSPIRED GAMING

FL negotiations continue


Back in September we reported on the possibility of Inspired Gaming plc being acquired by the FL Group (see previous InfoPowa report) but the negotiations appear to have made little progress, according to a statement from the company this week.

The companies are still negotiating, but a formal offer is yet to be made and there are no guarantees that it will be, the statement clarifies.

Inspired let it be known in September that it had received an "indicative" offer from an unidentified financial organisation in the 385 pence a share range, valuing Inspired at GBP 270 million. It is unknown if this offer is still on the table.

This week's statement followed a scary 20 percent fall over 24 hours in the stock, but the progress report from the company seemed to steady the market a little with the shares finally down around the 14 percent level.
