Starting field of 296 now down to an 8-man final table
 

In Kiev, Ukraine the relocated inaugural PokerStars European Poker Tour originally scheduled for Moscow has seen a Main Event starting field of 296 reduced to a final table of eight hopefuls after 4 tough days.

Russian player Max Lykov will lead in chip counts when play resumes at the Kyiv Sport Palace this weekend.

The final table comprises:

Maxim Lykov (2 597 000)
Vadim Markushevski (1 662 000)
Alexander Dovzhenko (1 590 000)
Vitaly Tolokonnikov (1 019 000)
Lucasz Plichta (731 000)
Arthur Simonyan (531 000)
Adrian Schaap (520 000)
Torsten Tent (264 000)

The first prize for the event is likely to be Euro 330 000
