Hilton Metropole Hotel the venue for the next poker spectacular

PokerStars.com has released its European Poker Tour London plans, which schedule September 30 to October 7 as the tournament dates. The tourney will take place at the Hilton Metropole Hotel and includes sixteen seperate events, making this the biggest PokerStars EPT Poker Festival yet.

Notable among the events is the three-day EPT London GBP 20 000 High Roller event, and for the first time a GBP 2 000 European 8-Game Championship will be introduced, along with a number of lower buy-in events. The festival will follow two weeks of preliminary events that will run throughout London.

“The PokerStars.com EPT London Poker Festival will have a rich mix of games and buy-ins to cater to the most players possible in a compelling schedule - by poker players, for poker players," EPT chief executive, John Duthie says. "This continues on the fundamental programming shift made for last season’s EPT Grand Final where we tried to create the best opportunity for all our players, not just higher-rollers, to play a wide mix of poker games and formats at a variety of accessible buy-ins.”

The EPT London's new venue will be able to accommodate more than 800 players and the event is expected to generate a prize pool of over GBP 4 million.
