Ex-Isle of Man regulator now involved with subsidiary of Asian gambling company


Speculation can cease on which gambling company former Isle of Man regulator Bill Mummery has made his professional home. It's a little-known Manx company called Celton Manx Limited, where Mummery is now an executive director.

Celton came to notice last week with the announcement that it had achieved a license with the Isle of Man jurisdiction as a subsidiary of the widespread Asian gambling group SBObet, itself licensed in the Philippines.

J. Lai, the CEO of Celton Manx, said: “The industry recognises the Isle of Man as being a premier jurisdiction for well regulated online gambling and we look forward to developing our European base from the Island.
