Genting Stanley's new online offering launches a GBP100 000 'Second Chance' Poker Classic


Players get two chances to win in an inaugural promotion from Genting Stanley's new online casino and poker website Circus Casino.co.uk. This second chance format is believed to be the first of its kind in the UK and allows CircusCasino.co.uk to engage with customers from 40 land-based casinos under its national Circus, Mint and Maxims brands.

Players who do not qualify from a land-based tournament at a participating casino automatically receive a second chance to make it to the finals in an online qualifier; equally, those who buy into an online 100 000 Second Chance tpournament on Monday night but do not win will receive a second chance in a future online competition.

The prize pool for this will be a guaranteed GBP 100 000 and the finals will take place at the famous Circus Casino at Star City, Birmingham from 30 October to 2 November, 2008.

The Texas Hold'em (no limit) tournament launches online on Monday, 28 July with the tournament qualifier commencing at 20:00 (BST) on Monday, 4 August - the second chance format will run every Monday at 20.00 (BST).

Players can buy-in directly to the Texas Hold'em final in Birmingham for GBP 550, there will also be side tournaments during the event including Omaha (pot limit).
